My little pumpkin is here!!! Sorry for the long book.

Hi ladies ! My little man is finally here and he is sooo adorable! I went into L&D on Thursday because my waters broke. I wasn't contracting so they sent me home to continue labor there and come back at 8am.That was about 7pm. At 8 Pm I started having contractions about 20-30 mins apart, they got worse and closer all night until they were so painful I was almost crawling because I couldn't sit or stand. We headed back at 7 and I felt like I was dying of pain( drama queen anyone) when hey checked me I was already dialated 6 cm! The nurses said they couldn't believe I wasn't screaming in pain. Finally they gave me some meds that I can't remember what it is but it softened the pain, they then gave me my epidural which I have to say is AMAZING!! They did such a great job and I never felt anything except for the bliss of no pain. Around 11 or 12 they realized I was at 10cm so they had me practice pushing, at 1 or so they had me really trying! At 1:56 Greyson Anthony was born and he is amazing !! The only down part is because of my GD I had glyburide and they gave me an insulin drip an hour before he was born, so he had low blood sugar and is now in the nursery tonight. I feel so sad seeing him there. We are trying to get the hang of breastfeeding, so far he just wants to put my breast in his mouth or lay on it . Hopefully we will get the hang of it!hos sugars are pretty my back to normal , but they like to keep him there to make sure. I am so in love with him and can't believe he is really here!
