We don't have a monitor set up, but I regularly hear my DH giving LO giant raspberries on his belly. Just now Jasper grabbed his hair and DH screamed "aaah! my hair! okay okay no more raspberries!!"
Mine's a morning person just like her mama. She will talk up a storm in the morning, she'll even yell and screech at the window... Aaaand she toots every time she stretches

The dog snoring....which freaked me out cause it sounded like a weird voice. I have also heard Dh tell her sleep is important in our house and to do more of it
I hear DD moving around in her crib a lot. She also talks to herself, which I just love. The funniest thing I hear is when H discovers a poo-tastic diaper early in the morning. His reaction is always priceless.
Ours must have a powerful mic, because it picked up the sound of the cat barfing in the room next to the nursery. I was so glad it wasn't the sound of LO waking up too early from a nap, I didn't even care that I had to clean it up.
Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.
When LO slept in the PNP in our room, I would often hear our pug snoring in his dog bed through the monitor and worry that it was her! DH had to tell me it was the dog. Now that LO sleeps in the nursery, I only hear the noises she makes when she's waking up (she's a pretty quiet sleeper). I turn the monitor off when I get up for her MOTN feeding so it doesn't bother DH (she often talks or yells during her diaper change). Then I turn it back on when I get back in bed after feeding her.
Dd2 still sleep in our room but I love listening to dd1 on the monitor. It is the sweetest thing when dh puts her to bed and they talk before she goes down.
When DH works late and I'm home alone with the kids I am terrified of the monitor! Ik sounds redic but I am so afraid I'm going to hear a scary voice or weird noise over LO sleeping and his lullaby machine.. Too many scary movies like for real they should not make them and involve babies (paranormal activity whatever number it was)

This is me..I work nights, so when I get home, DH and LO are sleeping in our room. I usually am not ready for bed right away, so I put on the monitor, and go about my business....I also have a pug, who is loud, so I hear him....and DH has a CPAP mask, so I hear that sometimes too...I get REAL freaked out
