Boring question

Why do people explain why they edited a post? I never do. Just wondering.

Re: Boring question

  • After you edit a post it says "edited" next to it so by explaining why you edited everyone knows what you changed. Kind of like a transparency/accountability thing I guess.

  • I almost never do it either, especially if it's just for grammar/spelling.

  • Ok, this is kind of what I figured but I didn't understand the necessity of it. I'm always mobile bumping and misspell things or leave a word out, but never explain my edit. Thanks for the explanations peeps, and just know that I'm never being shady! I'm mobile bumping and that takes long enough without spending more time explaining my edits! ;)
