grew 2 inches in 2 weeks!

Hi Im new here. My name is Kirsten. Im a mom to a beautiful 7 week old baby boy named Ryan. He was born on September 24. He grew 2 inches between 5-7 weeks. He went from 22 3/4 inches to 24 3/4 inches . Is this normal it seems huge.

    I read that they literally grow overnight. Looks like you had your 6 week spurt with him so probably he grew then. I think it sounds normal. Way to go LO!

    When my baby was born the hospital measured him at 21 inches, at his 1 week appointment with pedi they measured him at 22 3/4 inches!  I really don't this he grew over an inch in a week.  I just chalked it up to a squirmy baby and the measurement being off one of the times.

    It's far more likely that his original measurement was short and this measurement is a little long.  My son measured shorter at his first check up than he did at birth and we know that's not possible :)

    well she checked him twice and that was the slightly smaller of the 2 measurements. Because she thought she measured him wrong to at first
