I just got the call & I have to be a the RE at 1:15 for a 2:15 transfer! I'm a bundle of excitement and anxiety. I'm driving myself crazy with irrational thoughts. I keep thinking that since our Dx is unexplained, what if our issues are with implantation. Granted I've had an SIS & know there is no scar tissue, or cysts, or fibroids, but as I said, I'm irrational. I'm blaming the hormones. If you have prayers to spare, I could use some today. Thanks!

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    Thanks for the well wishes everyone!

    @mrsgabus & @freakyfast - We are only putting in one. We have 2 PGD tested frosties, so if it doesn't work, we have one more shot. We only want one more child, and while I haven't researched it too much, I believe putting 2 in doesn't increase the chances of success that much, but it does greatly increase the chance of multiples. My clinic pushes single egg transfers.

    I go for a monitoring hormone check on Monday and then my first beta a week from Sunday. I think I may POAS before then though. I feel like this process makes everything so clinical and I feel like I'd rather share the news of the success/failure of this with my husband rather than my nurse. Anyone have advice on this? Why do people wait for betas?

    I have read the same thing... that it doesn't increase your chances of putting in two. 

    It is hard that the first person that knows isn't you and your DH. I think POAS beforehand is perfect.  I know some don't answer the call from their RE/Nurse and then listen to the voicemail together.  But I think it is what you have to make of it, and come up with it for the both of you, the way you want to do it.

    @freakyfast - I'm on the East coast (NJ). It went well (I hope). She transferred a 6AA embryo, which she said thawed beautifully. She gave us a picture to which my husband said, "it looks like someone dropped something." My RE, the nurse, & embryologist were cracking up. Now we begin the longest 2WW ever!

    Thanks for positive thoughts today ladies!
