Unisom

My doctor said it was okay to take unisom for morning sickness. When I was at Target tonight, the pharmacist said that I should be taking Unisom with Doxyamine not the one with Diphenhydramine. Of course I have been taking the diphendydramine since before I was pregnant (I have problems sleeping so that is why I was on it before I became pregnant). Stupid me, I didn't realize there were 2 types of Unisom. Do you think I should be concerned?

    No. I personally don't think there is a need for concern.

    My doctor actually told me to take either unisom or Benadryl...she specified diphenhydramine, as it is a class b drug. I took it for awhile and my little boy is looking great! I wouldn't worry at all.

    Both are category B.  One for morning sickness the other for insomnia.  You're fine.
