    I got 2 stitches, one on each side of the labia and they are still there almost 4 weeks later...so I guess I'm no help on this but that's my experience

    No I didn't ask the doctor. It's not an urgent question and its a lot faster to ask on here then to call my OB and wait for a call back from a nurse.

    Im 6 weeks out and still have 5. Post partum appointment today said it would hurt worse to take them out at this point then just leaving them but everything is healed very nicely

    I saw some of mine fall out (purple) at near 5 weeks.
