Reflux vs hunger

I'm going to try to keep this short...
I need some advice.
My LO is 5 weeks old, since she was born she's had reflux. She's on Prilosec and it seems to somewhat help.
But here's my concern. I don't know when she's hungry! She seems to always take the bottle and cry when it's gone, no matter how much I give her. I won't give her more food before 2 hours because I fear she's feeding to sooth herself. We feed her 4oz every 2 hours unless she's sleeping, then she can go 3-4 hours... But always wakes up screaming.
Any advice?

You can't overfeed a baby...they will just spit up any extra. If baby is uncomfortable enough to be asking for a bottle then I think it's legit to give a bottle. Have you tried smaller more frequent feeds? My reflux baby eats every 2hrs. At times when her meds aren't working as well she would feed more often...I just fed on demand to help sooth her. We as adults would eat something if we had reflux that was burning our esophagus...no reason baby shouldn't get food to!
