intro/question/am i in the right place?

Hey everybody! Don't really know if I belong here because I did not have trouble getting pregnant the first time. But we are trying for number two now and are on day four of Clomid after trying for 10 months. I have PCOS and this is my first round of Clomid and I don't really know what to expect. Any advice, ideas, anything really? Thanks!

Welcome! I didn't have primary IF either, and am currently somewhere around cycle 26 ttc#3. You'll get some mixed opinions on clomid here, but I personally don't mind it. Could do without the hot flashes, but whatevs. Are you being monitored? That's pretty important so you have an idea how you respond. Hope your stay here is short!

I think you'll find that a lot of people here didn't have any problems getting pregnant with their first. It makes this whole 2IF thing even suckier! Welcome & good luck to you!

Welcome! I also responded well to clomid and I did not mind the drug. Like PP said, it gave me hot flashes, ovulation cramps and mood swings.

Welcome. I tried clomid the first time around. I made me super emotional. I did ovulate with it (I had been dx with PCOS, too and hadn't o'ed in over a year), but it also made my lining too thin for implantation. I tried it again in case that was a fluke, and the same thing. So, we've taken it off the table. But, it works out great for a lot of women. One of my friends just found out she's expecting twins after her first cycle of clomid. Good luck!
