Where did you get your daughter's ears pierced? Which earring size did you get? She did well with it and doesn't bother them, right? We might be going this week to get J's done.
I know this questions is for Sol but i figured i some extra info wouldnt hurt
I asked Rylee's pediatrician if they would do it and they said no. But they recommended going to any jewelry store. We ended up at Claire's. They were very sanitary. The earring size is universal. Only one size for babies. She only cried with the initial shock. After she had the earrings in they did not bother her at all. And it took about 3-4 weeks to heal although they tell you 6-8.
I got them done at a jewelry store. Like PP said it is a universal size. There was crying for only 2 min. The healing is faster then they tell you. You just keep it clean and she did not seem bothered by them at all. I actually changed her earrings to the ones I wanted 3 weeks after. Good luck!! Post a picture if you get them done!
Another unasked for opinion.... It is common to get ears pierced when they are young babies because they are too young to pull on their ears/earrings. And by the time they can pull on them they are used to them. Be careful with our aged babies because now she will be able to pull on the earrings and there is a big risk of pulling them out. (either causing the ear to tear or choking hazard if they eat the earring). Maybe the jewelry store can give you tips or advice on that
My cheap self did not do them there for the same reason. Are you kidding me $60!! No thanks. Paid $28. Sounds more reasonable right? well she looks super adorable!
