Hi Ladies I hope everyone is going to have a great weekend. I'm in NewEngland and they are trying to scare us with snow next week. ugh so not ready for that. Nothing new here, my nausea is gone but kinda a bad thing cause now i want to eat lol I'm getting my energy back to so i'm trying to study as much as possible for this placement test. I'm going back to school and im due around my first finals lol isn't it great how life works out lol

QOTW: Nothing great just my first inital with my last name. I wish I didn't pick my married name since it is the internet, I guess I didn't think my stay here would be this long lol

@Mwhigham22 snow already?! Wow!

All is well here. Had my first "official" OB appt this week and all is right on track. I need to decide about care... OB, OB and midwife, or just midwife. My clinic has all 3 options available to me so it's our choice, the decision will help dictate who I see between now and birth. I am leaning toward OB and MW, but I am also pretty decided on the fact that I do not want a med free birth(even tho DH wants that. Too bad buddy, I'm the one that has to live with that decision!). Our first Tri screening is set up for December 2, so we have to wait until then to see our bean again.
We did buy a crib this week, which I cannot beleive I let H go through with it! I am absolutely refusing to set it up any time soon!

@twistandturnsto2 yeah I can't believe it but I also feel like they like to scare the public so everyone runs out and empties the grocery stores and has filled gas tanks. Lol

Hi Everyone - Only a few minor updates here. We finally told our siblings and they're all really excited! Hopefully they can all keep their mouths shut until at least Thanksgiving. My 20 month old nephew was asked twice what he thought his cousin was going to be and both times he said girl...so we'll see haha. We heard our little heart beat again yesterday and my oh my how much stronger it was! You can even see how it's changed clear as day on the picture of the sound waves, and we didn't have to be quiet to hear it this time

I'm finally off pelvic rest, FINALLY! Yay for that happening just in time for the weekend ;-) Symptom-wise I've still been pretty lucky with not much to report. I have been extra tired the past couple days and my aversion to any kind of meat (except for shrimp) is still going strong, but if that's all I have to contend with at 7 1/2 weeks I'll take it!

QOTW: I started my journey here on TheKnot, so FutureMrs is obvious, W is the first letter of my married name, and 9 is there because I needed another character and it's one of my favorite numbers because it's the highest number.

Im 10 weeks 3 days. Yesterday had my second ultrasound. Can't believe how much it has grown in to weeks. I now start seeing my ob. We have told most of our close family and friends. Morning sickness still here and pretty bad

. Keep trying to get through each day and praying it will go away in a few weeks.

Hello! We are 6 weeks and 5 days. I just had my 4th ultasound today and everything is looking good and right on track. Baby is measuring 6 weeks and 4 days and heart beat is 133!!!. They said I will switch to 1 appointment a week now that we will be 7 weeks and I have my first appointment with my OB on the 22nd! I have not had too much morning sickness yet (knock on wood) but the exaustion is bad.

Super crazy weird to see (last check I )after my name ahhhh!!!!

Not much going on this week for me... Had my 2nd OB appt last Tuesdya all is good. Baby's hb is 152 and all signs and predictions point to boy.... Well see !!!

My EDD changed to 6/8 after my appt on Wednesday. Which is consistent with my transfer date. I am 9w5d today. Got to see the heartbeat, it was hiccupping and moving it's little arm bud. RE said everything looked good so I started weaning off meds. I meet with the midwife at my OB practice for my first appointment there on Monday. I can't believe we are still here! DH seemed very relieved after Wednesday's appointment, but I am still feeling cautious. It may be time to bust out my pregnancy book and start reading since testing will be coming up soon. I have had a tiny bit of nausea and some food aversions but nothing bad.

QOTW: It's a nickname DH calls me. Sometimes he calls me Mrs. Who or Whoberry Hopkins. No idea where that came from!

Newbie EDD 7/13/14. Find out one or two beans on Monday at first us. The spotting is lessening but such a robber of happy times. Happy though, started spotting before 1st beta they even bumped it up and all 3 came back great. Been waiting for this for 2 years

AFM things are going well. Morning sickness is kicking my ass but oh well! We have our last RE appt Monday (sniff sniff) and our first OB appt Tuesday (yay!) I'm excited/nervous to hear the actual heartbeats!

Wow, last check in here! I am at 13 weeks and 1 day! My first OB appointment was Wednesday, and it was actually really exciting being in with the "normal" pregnant women! I felt like the focus shifted from getting and staying to pregnant, to I am going to have a baby! My next appointment isn't for five weeks, which is just crazy. My hubby is trying to talk me out of buying a Doppler. So far I am being good and resisting. I am feeling loads better, and starting to relax a little bit now that second trimester is looming near!

QOTD: When I was in college my license plate was JWJ 875 or something randomly assigned like that. Some drunk frat boy asked if JWJ was my initials, and my friends started calling me jwj (pronounced Jwidge). I went to med school after that, so I added the dr for drjwj!

7w1d here! Started feeling light m/s this week. Nothing unbearable. Actually excited about it! I've been waiting to feel ms for so long - it means I'm pregnant!!!

I'm exciting bc I get to travel to NYC (I live in the Caribbean) for a few days this week. I love the city! DH has work over there so I cancelled work and off we go. It'll be nice to getaway, maybe start peeking into baby stores (just to look)

I'm walking a 5k tommorow so I'm in bed resting.

Wishing everyone a restful weekend. I get to see baby @ 8w+ a few days. Can't wait!!!

Hi, please add me! I'm due 7/13 like @kjf114 -- we were transfer buddies! I haven't had an ultrasound yet (scheduled for 11/27) but we only transferred 1 embryo, so odds are pretty slim that it's 2 beans.

So happy to be here again....really really want to stay this time!

Hi ladies! I think I am ready to be added to this check-in since we had our first ultrasound this past week and all looked good. @Mwhigham22 ~ Thanks for holding these check-ins. My due date is 6/24 and there's 1 bean

We will have our last ultrasound at our RE next week and then will move on to an OB. We haven't told our news to any of our family and friends yet - I think we're going to wait until after next week's ultrasound. I've been trying to figure out a clever way to tell our close family.

QOTW: My DH loves cinnamon rolls and I love cupcakes, hence cinnamonrollcupcake. Plus, cinnamon roll cupcakes actually do exist and they are delicious!

Wish I maybe hadn't chosen such a long name though.

I love these updates so hard.

I have not been around much lately because work has been kicking my ass, but it's fun to check in and see how everyone is doing.

AFM, I am 10w3d today, and graduated from my RE last week. Next week I have my first official OB appointment! I am really hoping I will get to see the nugget again!

My nausea has eased up quite a bit this week, which is actually sort of a mind eff. I am sort of wishing I had more symptoms right now, especially between ultrasounds. IF brain messes with me.

However, I do feel huge. It is 100% bloat, but it is bad. I don't look pregnant, I look chunky, and I feel pretty unattractive in all of my clothes right now since nothing fits right. I can't wait until I have a legit bump!

QOTW: My family is German and I used to live in Germany for awhile. I got married in 2007.

Easy as that!

Well, ladies, this is my last check-in, and I'm a couple of days late posting it. I'm 13 weeks 6 days today, so although some experts say I'm already in the 2nd trim they all agree that by 14 weeks I'm definitely there. So, graduating. Both babies are still doing great, and I'm really hoping I'll feel a lot better very soon. Love you ladies!!! QOTW: I guess it's pretty self-explanatory. For almost 17 years I've been Aunt Jessie to my 2 nieces and my nephew, whom I helped raise after my sister left them with my mom during a neurotic phase (which lasted about 10 years). Until now, I've been Aunt Jessy to them and Jessy to my 18 yr old stepson and 20 yr old stepdaughter. Looking forward to being called Mommy.

Still minimally spotting after SCH d/x on 10/22. I had my NT Scan on the 5th. The fold was 1.2. I am awaiting the B/W results.

So our follow up u/s showed that the sac grew quite a bit and is only 3 days behind (measuring at 6 weeks), but there was no yolk sac or fetal pole. I'm waiting for more blood results, then we'll go from there. This whole wait and see thing sucks

I cannot believe this is my last first tri check in! I'm 13 weeks 1 day just like @drjwj. My nt scan is Monday, and my first OB appt Tuesday. And if all goes well, it will be time to spill the beans. Especially at work.

Can I join! My EDD is 6/22/14 with 1 bean in there. I'm now 8 weeks, yay! I was discharged from my RE last Friday and have my 1st OBGYN apt tomorrow! I'm excited and nervous. I always have this fear that there will be bad news.

Question for you ladies, I've been having some cramping. Mainly a dull intermittent ache on both sides where a high cut bikini line would be. Does that make sense? My RE said it was normal and I'm pretty sure that it's round ligament pains. I do remember that I had this with my DD's pregnancy. However, I don't think it was this early. I'm going to ask the OB tomorrow. Anyone else can relate?

QOTW: This was my randomly selected college e-mail address and ID. It sort of stuck. lol I do wish I could change it but it's drilled to my memory and I basically use it for everything.

@id08271 I had pains at 8 weeks 3 days and everything was fine they didn't tell me it was RLP but I'm assuming that's what it was since they said it was just my uterus and other things beginning to stretch.

Hi Everyone -
Sorry I'm late in posting, I'm new to this board - guess I have to get in the swing of things!
My EDD is 6/19/14 and I have 1 bean.
I'm 8 weeks and 5 days today. Had my first appointment with OB yesterday and everything is measuring exactly on track and HB was 170. SO RELIEVED. Just need to make some tough decisions about genetic testing - I will post my ?s on a separate post.
Been feeling really queasy, headachy, and tired, but just so grateful to be actually pregnant - staying cautiously optimistic.

hello, all us well here. we are 11 weeks 5 days. I'm starting to feel less nauseous which is nice. anxious to move on to second tri. I can't believe it but its getting hard to hide the bump! With two I'm getting bigger much faster than I did with one! I'm enjoying it though

Hi mommies-to-be!

I had my 8w u/s with obgyn (1st visit). I heard heartbeat. New obgyn said my ovaries were still huge (kissing ovaries) so much that uterus is being pushed back. He said 2-3 pound weight gain isdue to ovaries. & No sex until new notice! Its been 4 weeks. I feel terrible for hubby.

I started ivf 130 pounds. I am now 137

He said not to worry and to get in shape after baby was born.

I'm taking all in. On the other hand, wetold my inlaws today. Lots of happy tears. I was so touched.

Anyone w same situation w ovaries?

@nancy1250 my ovaries are still very swollen. Sometimes they touch wrong and then they cramp up. Ouch! My RE still has me taking it very easy as things are still tender in there. I'm also (back) on pelvic rest due to an SCH. Hubby and I have only had sex once since Oct 1st. That's sad!
