...Because my girls were born today! Yesterday baby A's BPP showed mostly absent cord flow but also some reverse. Baby B just showed absent. I was put on continuous electronic monitoring as a result, and through the rest of the day I had a few contractions and the girls had a few decels as a result. I was given a steroid rescue shot in the evening just in case.
At 5:30 this morning I started having stronger contractions that were coming regularly, at first 10 minutes apart and within a couple hours they were 4 minutes apart. Just before 8:00 I felt a gush, which turned out to be blood. The doctor checked me and I was 1cm dilated and 90% effaced. At that point I was sent to L&D and put on a magnesium drip. The contractions continued to get closer together and more intense, and just before noon I was up to 4cm dilated. I was definitely in labor.
I entered the OR 18 minutes later, and was prepped for cesarean section. The numbing medication they put in my back stung a lot, but it didn't last long. I didn't feel anything when the anesthesiologist put in the spinal block. I was really scared going in to the situation, but it ended up being a lot less scary than I thought it would in the end.
At 27 weeks 6 days, Lorelei Murphy was born at 12:45pm, 1 pound 8 ounces and 11.75 inches. Amelia Rose was born at 12:46pm, 1 pound 12 ounces and 13 inches. Both girls came out crying, had good color, and were breathing on their own. I got to give little Lorelei a kiss before they took her, and while I didn't get to touch Amelia I did at least get to see her in the incubator for a minute or so. My husband and I were both crying tears of joy from the moment we heard the first tiny cry. He followed the girls to the NICU while I got stitched up, and he was able to get a lot of pictures!
I am recovering now, and doing ok. There is definitely pain from the incision and my uterus cramping. They have given me extra strenghth Tylenol, Vicodin, and Tylenol 3, but there is still a lot of pain. I was not prepared at all for how much I would be bleeding at this point, but I guess it's normal.
Thank you all so much for your well wishes, prayers, and support for everything, but especially through the complicated turns of my pregnancy. I will continue to stalk all of you to see how things are going, I wish each of you the very best!

Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN. After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.
August 16, 2013: BFP our first month of "not trying!" Still in shock. Beta #1 (14dpo): 183. Beta #2 (17dpo): 611. Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm!
Ultrasound 9/13/13: 8 weeks, heart rate of 176!

IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies. ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts.
Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy. Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!
Me (34)- no issues found MH (36)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist. 9R, 7M, 5F = BFN c/p, New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS 4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice. CCRM-here we come! ODWU-All test results normal. EPP in August. 21R, 20M, 19F. 12 blasts biopsied & frozen for CCS testing. Results showed 11 normal! FET Oct. 30. 2 5d 4AA blasts transferred. First ever BFP!!! Beta 1=216, Beta 2=870 1st U/S=It's TWINS!!! It's a BOY and a GIRL!! Everyone Welcome!!!
