Formulas with rice starch added

I know these are meant for babies with reflux and excessive spit up, but has anyone used this to help baby sleep longer?

Re: Formulas with rice starch added

  • What? Its just like adding rice except its pre-mixed for you.

  • i havent scrolled down yet...., but i guess the answer is no. Thanks.
  • The only way I can get my 7 week old son to sleep longer than and hour at a time at night is to play with him and keep him awake more during the day and make sure he eats enough before bed. He had this bad habit of eating 2 ounces here, 7 ounces there, then 4 ounces... I basically had to just make a schedule for his meals and naps to get more sleep. I have him wait four hours between meals (but I don't make him go hungry, obviously, I just keep him occupied) and alternate a few of hours awake and a few asleep. Maybe doing something like that might help you. (I work full time, too, so I understand if you're exhausted and strapped for time)

  • No. And won't. DS will sleep longer when HE is ready. Unless you need to supplement don't.

  • The only thing that will help baby sleep longer is time & developmental readiness.

I read a blog about this...so how much do you feed him every 4 hours?
