    It's crazy because I'm on so many injects right now, and it's nothing compared to how shitty I felt on Clomid. Clomid was like a total roller coaster for me. One minute I'd be sobbing over a towel paper commercial, the next minute I'd be threatening to murder my husband and throwing all of his shit in the yard. The stuff is evil.

    i am going to start clomid in jan (maybe). do these effects last all month or just on the days you are taking it? i am already moody enough as it is!

    IUI #1 April 2014: BFN

    IUI #2 July 2014: BFN

    IUI #3 August 2014: BFN

    BFP: September 15, due May 22nd 2015

    For me it's just the days I'm taking it and my emotions are 1:complete bitch! I think I hate everything but DS when i take it. I'm about to O and that's always super painful with clomid for me. I'm hoping it happens on a day DH is home so I can have some help.

    HA! I was just coming over here to say that I'm thinking of not taking Clomid again because I'm too scared... and was looking for a pep talk! HAAAAA! :) This made me laugh.  And I'm putting the prescription back in my medicine cabinet,  my balls have not grown yet and I'm too scared to take it!

    IME it got progressively worse over cycles. The 1st cycle I was fine, then it just got worse from there. My last Clomid cycle (#5) the entire month was bad, from the time I started (Day 3) until I got my period, it was non stop HELL.

    The side effects only stay with me for the days I take it but since this is pretty much our only option for now, I will take it. It is pretty crazy stuff though!

    My first RE was stupid and I was on it for 9 cycles. I can't believe my husband made it out alive. That shit is the devil.

    TTC for 1.5 years with a crappy RE. 12 cycles with clomid (11 too many)
    New RE, 3 failed IUI's moving to IVF with ICSI

    I am so afraid of clomid. I will fight it until the bitter end of my fertility battle! I bow to those who have been down that road before me- and I'm glad all DHs have survived!

    Clomid worked with DD so I'm willing to give it a try! It's not as scary as it sounds, to me.
