2nd Beta- Didn't Double!

Okay, now I'm freaking out! Here are the results of my two betas:
9dp5dt=220
11dp5dt=327

My progesterone and estrogen levels are great, but I'm worried that the number didn't double... I'm going in for a 3rd beta on Monday. Does anyone have experience with this or know what that could mean? I literally feel like I'm going to throw up.

    All of this. My numbers increase over 48 hours with my DD much like yours but didn't exactly doubt. Crossing my fingers for you!

  • Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, ladies! @cheesypeas both tests were taken at 8:30am so they were exactly 48 hours apart. Based on that my doubling time is at about 84 hours or about 48%... @sweetest116 The vanishing twin scenario was the first thing that came to my mind, too. It seems like the most logical answer... We did transfer 2 level 2 blasts so it's definitely likely and my beta is still a little above average for this stage for a singleton pregnancy... I'm going to do my best to relax and stay positive. It's going to be a looong few days, though.

  • I so hate betas for this reason, it cause nothing but stress! If it's good then you wonder, Is it doubling too fast? Or if it's bad you of course wonder as well and then stress it's the end. I do know cases where betas even decreased and resulted in a fine pregnancy. Not saying it's 100% (even doubling normal betas aren't always 100%), but anything can happen. I always think of vanishing twins as well.
