KKDragonfly will be giving birth soon (along with HopingforBaby2 and Lauren79... yay for babies almost here!), so I'm going to be sending out the 2IF Grad Check-in posts for a while. Bear with me while I try to get the due date chart to work properly.
This check-in is for graduates of the 2IF board (and any other secondary infertility grads). If you are new to the check-in, please let us know your due date and you will be added for next week.

Re: **2IF Grad Check-in**
1. How many weeks along are you? 16 weeks
2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Had our 16 week appointment on Thursday. Always a relief to hear that heartbeat (like all of you, I'm sure)! OB asked me to see Primary Care MD about worsening asthma, which I did today. She put me on a mild daily inhaler. OB had DH take a blood type test, hoping he is Rh negative like me. But he's positive. She had me run an antibody titer to test Rh antibody levels, since I tested positive for the Rh antibodies a couple of months ago. Waiting for the results and hoping it's negative.
3. How are you feeling lately? I'm feeling pretty good now finally. I'm actually worried about how strong my appetite is now... I have put on 2-3 pounds a week the last couple of weeks. Yikes!
4. QOTW: What is different between this pregnancy and your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Or does it feel exactly the same? My nausea has been worse, constipated since the beginning with this one (that didn't come until much later with DS' pregnancy), sleeping terribly since I found out I was pregnant (also didn't come until later with DS' pregnancy), and peeing during the night since the beginning (again, didn't have that until late in DS' pregnancy). More uncomfortable with this pregnancy in general. But happy as I can be.... not complaining! Every symptom is welcome here.

2IF issues
2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Ended up having a scary bleeding/spotting episode Saturday night into Sunday. Finally went into L & D to be monitored for a while and thankfully baby is doing great. They did notice a few contractions, but they told me nothing to be worried about and the bleeding was likely due to my partial pp. Already had a regular check-up scheduled for tomorrow (Tues) afternoon so was ordered to precautionary bedrest until then. Hoping to get the all clear and get back to normal...too much left to do yet before this baby comes!
3. How are you feeling lately? Other than this weekend I'd been feeling pretty good...just getting tired again and feeling very large!
4. QOTW: What is different between this pregnancy and your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Or does it feel exactly the same? This pg overall has been rougher with sickness, aversions, aches, pains, etc. but still so glad to be here. Just looking very forward to Jan and hoping this little girl stays put for quite a while yet!

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)?
No updates...appt and u/s scheduled next week.
3. How are you feeling lately? Terrible. I can't walk through a store or run an errand without wanting to cry. Everything hurts so bad. Not too much longer though!
4. QOTW: What is different between this pregnancy and your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Or does it feel exactly the same? Omg it's sooo different being pregnant with twins. I'm actually less sick, but I am so achey and just plain exhausted.
I have not posted in such a long time! My DD is going through the terrible two's and it is terrible! I think of all of you ladies often. 2IF was my home board for 15 months.
1. How many weeks along are you? 37 weeks Wednesday. C-Section scheduled for 11/29.
2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? I have an U/S tomorrow to see how big baby is. I was hoping for VBAC but it isn't looking good.
3. How are you feeling lately? Stressed, finishing up my last 2 weeks at work and DD has been a handful. Pregnancy wise I am fine : )
4. QOTW: What is different between this pregnancy and your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Or does it feel exactly the same? I am not swollen this time around and haven't gained that much weight. I blame a lot of it on my PGAL brain, super busy job and having a toddler I am running around after.

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? No updates. Ultrasound next week to check cervix and fluid, etc. First GD screen next week too.
3. How are you feeling lately? Alright, but not great. Ribs are sore, back pain, crotch pain. Just grateful that the babies and I are healthy.
4. QOTW: What is different between this pregnancy and your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Or does it feel exactly the same? Oh so different! I'm nearly the size I was at delivery with DS. All the end of pregnancy aches and pains I had last time are back in full force already. My pregnancy with DS was so low key, had a midwife, etc. This one is (obviously) much more medical with lots of appointments.

IUI #5 - Gonal-F/Ovidrel and IUI -- BFP!!
EDD: March 22, 2013
It's triplets!!
1. How many weeks along are you? 8w3d
2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? I have my second ultrasound on Thursday. Typically it would just be my first OB appt., but I get an u/s because I have a small SCH.
3. How are you feeling lately? Considering I have a bad head cold, not good. But luckily the nausea is subsiding!
4. QOTW: What is different between this pregnancy and your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Or does it feel exactly the same? With DD I was nauseous here and there, but it was totally manageable. With this one, I was SO SICK starting at 6 weeks and spent way too much time laying on the bathroom floor.

1. How many weeks along are you? 4 weeks 3 days
2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Betas from yesterday look great! My OB only checks them once a week, so I go back next Monday for another blood draw.
3. How are you feeling lately? Nervous mostly.
4. QOTW: What is different between this pregnancy and your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Or does it feel exactly the same? I'm probably too early to feel much of anything, but I so want to. Not feeling anything makes me nervous.

Update on me: Had an ultrasound today and another appointment following my spotting scare this weekend and it would seem that I am "special" and not in a good way
What started as a partial placenta previa (which I was told was nothing to worry about and could potentially resolve itself as the pg progressed) has now turned into a full on pp! My doctor said this is rare and they typically only see one case like this per year...guess I am that one...lucky me.
I will definitely be having a c section now, just a matter of when. Good news is that I can go back to work and just need to be very careful with any physical activities. I've been ordered on pelvic rest for the remainder of the pg (poor DH) and my OB's office has already called and updated the hospital with my status should I have another incident.
They did prep me for the worst and told me that hemorrhaging could be a problem, so hoping it doesn't come to that! Sounds like baby girl will likely be delivered around 38 weeks if we can make it that long, but more than highly possible that we could go at 35 or 36 weeks and get an early Christmas present.
Needless to say I'm praying for the best and trying to stay positive, but my poor brain is in overdrive! I've been so busy at work I honestly haven't put much thought into having a baby and there is a TON left to do!!! Started making a big list tonight of things to do, buy, etc. and my mom will be coming in 2 weeks to hopefully help wrap up as much as possible. Prayers that baby girl stays put as long as possible are much appreciated.

Ultrasound 9/13/13: 8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
Baby is due 4/26/14
How many weeks along are you? 30 weeks today. Nine weeks left until c section.
2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? I passed my three hour glucose test, very happy about it. I was not looking forward to it, but glad it is over. Have my ob this friday and hope to have my c section scheduled. Also have my ultrasound next tues and hope for good news.
3. How are you feeling lately? I am so so. I had a very bad sinus infection and have been sick. I still feel tired and out of it, but hope to get better soon.
4. QOTW: What is different between this pregnancy and your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Or does it feel exactly the same? No very different. I had horrible bleeding in the beginning and I had some major scares with this baby. With my first pregnancy, I just lost fluid at the end and had a c section at 39 weeks. With this I am always in pain and worried about the baby. She has put me in the hospital twice and ER once. I feel her a lot different too. She is a lot higher and kicks a lot different. I hope I get to meet her soon!
1. I am 8w0d today
2. My due date was moved from 6/17 to 6/25 because of my latest ultrasound. I expected this as I usually ovulate Day 20 or 21 of my cycle. I have another (fourth!!!) ultrasound in two weeks. My OB is SUPER cautious and considers me high risk because of PCOS. She wants to make sure the heartrate is okay. It was 116-138 last week (two different measurements), 145 this week. She's freaking me out a bit. Praying we see an even stronger heartbeat in two weeks!
3. I am feeling sleeeeepy!! And my breasts are super sore, and I am nauseated from time to time. Otherwise I am feeling great.
4. It was so long ago. I don't remember being quite this sleepy, but I also didn't have a four year old to keep up with and I wasn't on progesterone supplements last time. I have lost weight this pregnancy which is absolutely different, I gained SO much last time. Overall I am way more anxious this time. I think because it took so long to get here? With DD I was oblivious to loss and IF.
Yes, a little scary, but overall from the research I've done it seems that pp isn't rare in itself, but the fact that mine got worse instead of better isn't exactly common according to my doctor. Thanks for the well wishes, and yes, fingers crossed that she stays snuggled in as long as possible!

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Had a sono yesterday baby is measuring 8lb 2oz!!! My fluid looks better (I've been being monitored for high fluid) also had a NST because of the fluid and baby is perfect but I was having contractions so they checked my cervix and I'm 3 cm dilated!! This has me so freaked out! I'm still contracting but nothing painful or uncomfortable. I'm really hoping to make it to my scheduled c/s in 11 days but not sure if that's gonna happen at this point!
3. How are you feeling lately? Feeling pretty good just have a lot of pressure and tire
4. QOTW: What is different between this pregnancy and your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Or does it feel exactly the same? I feel pretty much the same as last time. Just more tired.
