I cannot for the life of me find my discharge paperwork that talks about it, and I haven't heard back yet from my OB so I thought I'd ask.
For c-section moms, how long was it before you were allowed to lift LO while they're in their car seat? I'm home alone until six or seven at night every night, and I'd really like to get some stuff done during the day.

The doctor then came in and told me to listen to my body, if it hurts don't do it. The only thing he said I could not do was drive for two weeks, just in case I had an unexpected reaction to the surgery. I listened to the doctor, slept in my bed and was lifting my LO in the carrier after 2 weeks when I starting driving.
