Breathing monitor users

Have you stopped using the breathing monitor yet?

I feel like for the last couple of months I keep playing how can I keep the Snuza attached to my kid.
We have fashioned up a way that is working for us for now.

I feel like I might be addicted to her wearing the Snuza. I think my plan is to discontinue use around a year, but who knows maybe I will make her wear it until she goes to college (kidding.... I think).

What is everyone else's plan or at what point did you stop using it?

  • We use the Angel Care monitor, and we still use the breathing monitor.  DS regularly moves off the sensor pad, so we turn it off after he's set it off (I can usually tell based on where he is whether he's on the sensor or not).  I honestly think I'll use it until he can come into my room and talk to me - either that or a year.

We'll use it again when he's in high school and liable to start sneaking out of the house at night! :-)

  • We used the Snuza until DS moved from the rock n play to his crib. Now, we use the angel care breathing monitor and will continue to do so until he's 18. Just kidding. I will use it until I feel like I can sleep at night without it.

  • We had the snuza Go! monitor on DS until he could roll over back to belly in his sleep, because then he knocked it off and it would go off, sending us into a panic, then into a frenzy to turn it off before he woke up. That was somewhere around the 5 month mark. I loved it. It rarely had a false alarm and it gave me such peace of mind in those early, early days.
