So I know a lot of you had gone through wakeful periods with your little ones, I never had that, he slept like a champ. Now the past month and 1/2 he gets up 1 -2 times a night crying, he isn't awake though for the most part, I go in give him his paci, turn on his music and off he goes back to sleep. It isn't horrible to have to do I just got spoiled sleeping through the night after the first 3 months of his life lol
Do you think this is cause of teething? I just don't get it.
Re: I just don't get it
I think this is completely normal. We put 10, yes 10 pacifiers in DS's crib before he goes to bed. 6-7 sprinkled around where he is sleeping and in case he loses those, I also spinkle a few others in the corners. Sometimes he wakes up crying once or twice in the night but when I watch him on the monitor, he feels around for a pacifier, puts one in his mouth, and falls right back to sleep. Might be worth a try.
Also, not sure how long you let him cry before going in. We have a 5 minute rule - we always try to let him cry for 5 minutes before going in b/c as you mentioned, I don't even think he is awake. 90% of the time, he will be quiet and back to sleep within 5 mintues (and usually only 1 or 2 minutes).

Good thought, I actually don't even wait 5 minutes, I think I will try that, I am always in a rush to run in there because I am afraid if I let him cry he will wake himself up lol
Thanks!
This is so funny! We tried putting 2 in once but dd kept switching them back and forth and then would try to use both....she would keep herself up doing that. Now we just keep the spare by the crib in case it is needed
We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013. We love her to pieces.
We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011. She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.

We do the binky sprinkle and wait 5 minutes as well! If DS cries longer than 5 minutes then we know something is up, like one time he had a diarrhea poop and a diaper rash flare up. We rarely have to go in at all though. ::knocks wood::
