Help, miscarried overnight **UPDATE

I was scheduled for a D&C today but I passed something large last night. Has anyone experienced a passing on your own? I am not filling up a pad an hour but I do have clots when I go pee, is this ok? Also still have moderate cramping.
Update: doctor cancelled D&C yesterday and I'm going in for an ultrasound today to make sure I passed everything. A lot of cramps and clots but it is helping me heal. Hopefully this will soon pass so we can try for our next miracle! Thank you so much ladies for your support. It helps more than you will ever know!!!!

I'm sorry! Yes, it's normal. If you cancel your D&C and continue with the natural MC, you will pass clots and lots of them. I also had moderate to severe cramping. I took 600-800mg ibuprofen and wore and huge bellybutton to butt crack size pad even though I wasn't soaking a pad an hour. TMI, (sorry) but when I MC naturally, both times the bleeding was not like a period at all. I had stringy tissue, clotty tissue, big and small clots of blood that looked like jello, thick clots, thin clots until I passes a large thick clot, then the clots started stopping and was like a moderate to light period, then things started slowing down until I stopped bleeding. It all lasted about a week. I hope that helped and didnt' gross you out too much.

I asked my Dr if I start MC naturally could I still have a D&C and she said yes. With this last MC, the D&C help sooooo much, emotional and physically. I didnt want to go through all the bleeding, clotting and cramping again. Best of luck you to! My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Passing clots is VERY normal, that is happening to me right now. I am going through it naturally and my doctor wont do a D & C unless it is necessary, but that isn't for everyone! I passed clots, normal period looking ones and ones that were "fleshy" like baby material...(sorry TMI) but that is the reality of what it is and going through this isn't pretty. I experienced labor pains, but after I passed the big clots, my cramps went down until they were manageable now with Tylenol. My doctor said, this can go on for weeks for me, so having a D & C is beneficial in that department. Hope this helps, sorry you are having to go through this-it breaks my heart.

I would call ur dr. I started miscarriage naturally but due to the amt of blood in my uterus, they did a d&c. I was glad - personally. I would have ur dr see about checking you out. Then you can decide. Yes lots of blood and clots. Hang in there!! *big hugs*

@Campow83 I'm doing good. Emotionally it hits once in a while, but I just take a day at a time. what else can I do...I hope your cramps and bleeding stop soon! Hopefully everything is almost over so you can start a brighter future!
