I've used mine twice. First time was a couple weeks ago when I picked up placenta sounds but no HB, and today... and I didn't get anything.
I'm not using it often (and don't really have to limit myelf) because I know its early and I'm already worried enough. I'll probably use it more once I'm showing and baby will be easier to find and I'm respectably confident baby is okay.
I bought it first for fun/connection second for peace of mind.
Ok thanks ladies! I told myself we would only use it on Sundays and now here it is Wednesday and I'm dying to use it! I just don't want to stress the baby or anything like that
I'm almost 9 weeks and picked up the heartbeat last night! Tried last week but could only find my own. Last time I was pregnant I was afraid of using it too much, but the excitement wore off after a few weeks and I would go a week or two without using it so I don't think it's a big deal. I think I remember reading somewhere not to use it more than 4 times a week for longer than 15 mins each time.
i use mine whenever i have time and feel like hearing the heartbeat:) I found the babies heartbeat this past weekend...took forever but now i know what side to find it on!!!
Sonoline B 3mhz here also. I check on baby every 2 - 3 days now.

I used mine all the time in my first pregnancy did not even get it out once in my second. I think it is fine to do it a lot the more you the better you get at it. I had a sonoline b.

I have a sonoline b 3mhz. I picked mine up from fetaldoppler.net for $55. I was lucky enough to be able to find a heartbeat at 8w3d. It took me quite a while to locate it but I promised myself that if I didn't find anything, I wouldn't get upset because of how early it was. It was very reassuring to find it so early because I haven't had my first appointment yet. I couldn't wait for my husband to get home so we could lay in bed together and listen to our baby's heartbeat. We also recorded the heartbeat and sent it to both of our families. This is going to be the first baby for both of our families.
Got mine, couldn't find the heart beat on try 1.. Along with having no pregnancy symptoms, im kind of scared but trying not to freak out. Going to try again later tonight.

It took me over a week to find it after the first time. Rewatch YouTube videos over and over (it helps if the video explains the different sounds so you know exactly what you are hearing). It also helps to stay in one place and slowly bend it in every direction very slowly. Then try a different spot and do the same. I found it much lower than expected.

Okay, I will keep trying. I don't have a doctors appointment until next Friday, which sucks. We still havn't told anyone and dont want to until we are able to know 100% that its okay (for me thats just seeing a heart beat). I don't even have an Ultra sound appointment made, she wants me to wait until after 11 weeks (which is after Thanksgiving) and that would be the defect screening.. So I am trying to find out on my own and well, thats a fail too.
I used mine almost every day from 10weeks until ~21 weeks last time. Once I could feel the baby move it wasn't as necessary (though on occasion I would listen even in third trimester). I loved it!
