Hi ladies!
Where I live, winters are pretty mild. We'll have a week or so in the teens, but we'll stay in the upper 20s/30s. What will your babies wear while in their car seats? I know you aren't supposed to put bulky clothing on a baby in a car seat, so I'm at a loss. So far, I've been adding a hat and a very thin jacket/hoodie to her outfit, and then wrapping a blanket around her legs once she's buckled in. I still don't feel like that's very warm, though, and all of the other moms at daycare are giving me the side eye; their kids are bundled from head to toe for the 20 foot walk from the car to the door, but Sophia is just wrapped tightly in a blanket (that she fights like a tiger to get out of). What are you all doing for the chilly fall/winter days?
Re: Cold weather clothing
OMG, the heated carseat is such a great idea!
I just responded to the other post too - another option is a carseat poncho. I found one on www.carseatponcho.com and also found some on Etsy. Looks pretty simple though, I might just try to make one myself!

Those moms sound crazy and like they are creating a lot of extra work for themselves. No one is going to freeze to death in 20 feet. I think what you are doing sounds just fine.
We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013. We love her to pieces.
We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011. She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.
