Scholastic Book Orders

Can I just say I LOVE that DS's daycare gives these out? Our DCP is in-home, but she also does Kindergarten readiness and teaches a reading curriculum to the preschool age kids, so every kid, even the babies, get a book order. Yay!! It takes me back to my childhood!

    So does ours! She gives K and Preschool. I always get board books from the Preschool one. Fabulous!

    When I was teaching, there was a special kind of glee when the book of catalogs or (gasp!) the white box with red lettering filled with our books turned up in my mailbox.  The 8 year old me totally got a kick out of being the one to take each brand new book from the box, cross-reference with the order forms, and then pass out the books to the lucky purchaser's backpacks.  I remember my teachers doing that and being totally in awe of how cool it all was.  
    I am such a nerd.
    I'm jealous. 27 year old me would get a kick out of doing that now!  :P
