TTC after 35

NOT preggers

after all my certainty and symptoms, i had an early and extremely heavy period. it may have been another early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy but i guess i'll never know. if they were phantom symptoms then my mind has A LOT of power over my body. like whoa.

the upside: i still have time to learn about pregnancy and babies since as i mentioned last week, this was our first cycle not using protection after being sure we didn't want kids most of our lives. also, i get to drink a few times!

the downside: i felt sad about not being pregnant, despite all the freaking out. i feel like i miss my not baby. and my body still feels a bit messed up. nothing that i can't overcome, though.

wishing you all luck!

Re: NOT preggers

  • sorry for your BFN ... Phantom symptoms are crazy and I didn't believe it till I experienced them.  They will also change every month and you will swear you are pregnant or going crazy.  While TTC you are hyper aware of everything in your body.... it all gets magnified and we put so  much hope in each cycle.  They blow.

    Good luck next cycle

  • thanks so much, ladies <3 and yes, my body is HYPER-AWARE! i'm just getting started so will just try to take it all in stride.
  • I totally understand your disappointment.  I'm convinced I experienced the same thing my last cycle as well.  It's great that you're looking at this as a learning opportunity.
