I was told that if you breast feed you don't get one. however I know everyone is not the same. So my question is when did you get your period? I have been spotting for the last 6 weeks and then last night it got really heavy and I'm having period like symptoms. I have been EP and now I am EBF. so I don't know if that changes things. but I am so ready to stop this bleeding spotting crap!!! TNA!

it can happen at any time, really. Lots of mom's don't get it until baby STTN, but some aren't so lucky. I didn't get mine until LO STTN and that was at 8 months.

My pp bleeding got really light then stopped around 3 weeks. No period yet. I've heard that pp bleeding can come back as spotting though, I think up to 8 weeks?

With DD1 I got it back at 9 months. With DD2, I got it at 6 months.

With DD, mine came back at 9 mo PP. I was still BF, but my supply had really decreased and I was having to supplement at that point.

I didn't get my first pp period with my older DDs until a month or so after they weaned (12 months and 17 months) and I hope this will be the same! It sounds like you might still have pp bleeding though.

Haven't gotten it yet with DD2. I'll be 7 wks pp on Monday.

With both I got mine right around 5 weeks and with the first one I EPed every 3 hours like clockwork and this one is EBFed so I'm just lucky I guess :-/
