Overwhelmed and nervous

My lo is 6 months old and we just found out I am pregnant again. Surprise! Really didn't want them to be so close together, but that's where we are now. I still breastfeed my first one and am quite upset that i will have to stop earlier than I wanted cause I don't think I can handle tandem nursing. Anyone ele have their second this close together? I still remember the 24 hours of labor with my first and am just really nervous and stressed about doing.it all over again so soon.

    I had a surprise myself and got pregnant when DD was 3 months old.  She is now 9 months and my babies will be exactly 12 months apart.  I was freaking out for the first month, didn't even tell my family.  I had to "digest" the information.  I now have a whole list of why this is a good thing to have my babies so close together, but mainly I came to the realization that my family is exactly what it is supposed to be, and I will survive.  I mean there is no other option.  The other thing that has been surprising to me is how many people have or had children so close in age.  If they can do it, why can't we?  Good luck, you'll get used to the idea and I promise you will get excited as well.
