Here is the email she sent me today:

Sorry so slow to update, but Michael Stephen Rybak arrived at 6:50 this morning after almost 7 hours. (Which I am thankful it was only 7!) Things progressed quickly at I was at 10 and 100% effaced after a couple hours on pitocin. She let me labor for another hour or so, to get him further down, then started pushing. After almost 4 hours of pushing, no joke, his head was turned kind of crooked in my pelvis, he finally arrived. 7 lbs, 5 oz and 20 inches long. He got a bruise on his head and a squished nose on the way out, but healthy as can be! That was THE most difficult thing I've ever done in my life, but I love him so.much. Steve and I are over the moon and he looks just like his daddy.

The bruise and swelling is already going down, and his nose looks better by the hour.
