Day 11- I am thankful to all the brave men and women, past, present, and future who have put their lives on the line to defend our country and freedoms. Our country has a lot of issues, and I am anti-war, but I could never not be thankful for those who risk their lives to serve our country.
Day 12- I am thankful for heat! With the weather turning cold in our neck of the woods (PA) I am so thankful to have a warm house to come home to.
Day 13- I am thankful for the fact that we have free childcare. Between my brother, Barb, and some amazing people at our church, Ben has free in (our) home childcare. He does go to Barb's 2 days a week, but other than that, he's at our house. It is SUCH a blessing, because if I had to pay for childcare, I may as well not work at all.
Day 14- I am thankful for our local farmers' market. I know this may seem to be a weird thing to be thankful for, but we have made some excellent friends- both fellow shoppers as well as the farmers, and have been really blessed by a lot of the people there. They helped us out when mom was sick, when Ben was born, and recently with our financial struggles by giving us free food- either credit to use with any of the vendors, or vendors directly giving to us. I am able to serve my family, local, organic, food without worry or concern. We were even gifted a turkey for Thanksgiving. I've never heard of (and am sure I never will) a large grocery chain supporting it's customers like that. We are blessed to be a part of the Easton Farmers' Market family!

a little late to the game again, but here we go
Day 11: I am thankful for my sitter for my son. She offered to watch him back in August and has made my life so much easier. He is the only one there other than her daughter who is only 3 days older. They play so nicely and he has such a blast there. She really gets him and knows what he likes and dislikes and plans accordingly.
Day 12: I am thankful for my computer working again! Lol. I have report cards due this week and my computer was acting up and I was starting to panic!
Day 13: I am thankful for my house which keeps up warm and dry!
Day 14: I am thankful for people in my family who are willing to watch Nathan for a couple hours today so I can actually get my report cards done.
