I am excited and nervous to be back on PgAL.  I was putting off introducing myself, but I know that this board was the only way I kept my sanity last time.  So here it goes...

DH and I tried for 2 years before conceiving our first son.  We found out at our AS that his heart was no longer beating and he was born sleeping 2 days later at 19 weeks on 11/16/11.  After a rough recovery we were blessed to conceive our second son a few months later.  He was born 1/4/13 and has been such a joy for us. 

I was hoping that I would not be as nervous this time, but PgAL brain has made it's cruel appearance already.  The one true blessing is that I am often so busy with DS (who just starting walking) that I really do not have time to allow myself to think about the "what ifs" too often.  I am trying to just be excited for a July baby.

    I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet boy, but I'm glad to see you here! I think we can all relate to trying not think about the "what-ifs" and are trying to be as positive as we can. As you know, this board is a great place to be for others who understand :)

    I have a DS2yrs & we lost a son at 19 weeks in August of this year. I'll be 6 weeks on 11/15. I also have the same feelings that you're experiencing. Congrats for your little butterbean & I look forward to seeing the baby pics when he/she arrives! :)
