So I haven't seen last night's episode yet, but based on last week and the previews for yesterday, I am thinking Elijah and Haley are going to hook up? Anyone agree? Also, was Tyler not the total douche bag last week on VD? Getting all the booty he could and then dumping Caroline. Ugh. She should have taken Klaus before he left!!

Also, I kind of like the "new" Stefan. ;)

    I watched last night's episode and have no spoilers to report on the Elijah/Hayley topic but I completely agree that they're heading for a hook-up.  Some Elijah/Klaus friction will make for some good storylines going forward I think.

    Tyler just reconfirmed why I dislike him.  While it wasn't good to see Caroline heartbroken, I'm glad that's over with because now they can just write him out of the series forever.  Unless they want to bring him back and kill him off or something.  I think that's a good option too. :)  He was a total douche though for making sure he got some before he left.  Hopefully that's just the final nail in the coffin though for that relationship. No regrets about the break-up.  Free to move on to the hot new vampire college guy (although I'm still a little puzzled on what the professor is up to with him) or perhaps take a little vacay down to New Orleans!

    I like the new Stefan too.  I kind of feel like he's better off not remembering his past, so I'm okay with him just building fresh starting now.  I feel like they're going to bring Bonnie back and find a way to restore Stefan's memory though.  Don't you think?  They kind of alluded to Silas dying this week but I know there has to be something that goes wrong.  That whole plan of theirs to bring Bonnie back has gone far too smoothly up to this point.

    I think the professor is going to do some sort of experiments on Jesse. Since he told Elena to leave town, they clearly know about vampires, so maybe they want to learn their weaknesses, etc.

    I do miss Bonnie actually being human. If she comes back, I'm sure her and Jeremy will get back together. I agree, Stefan will probably get his memory back. I thought that was a great twist how Damon just fed Katherine to Silas. It seemed like Elena thought that was a bit harsh. But yet she woke up? Does that mean she's a vampire again?

    And what a twist with her having a daughter! Just when I thought the series was getting boring...they spiced it up a bit!

    Yeah, I feel pretty confident that Katherine is a vampire again.  Whenever she didn't die, I thought to myself, "darn-it, he didn't get all of her blood," but then I concluded that it just meant she was a vampire again.  Can't kill off their trusty villian Katherine, especially with the originals down in New Orleans!

    Yeah, the daughter thing completely threw me for a loop!  I turned on the tv mid-way through their conversation and was so confused until the next day when I watched it online.  I wonder what that bit of news is going to do to Katherine's storyline.  If she'll end up being more of a "good guy" or if they'll join forces in being little bitches or if perhaps the daughter wants to kill Katherine.  So many possibilities!

    I feel like the writing on that show is pretty great.  They've got some awesome twists and turns to keep things exciting.  I'm actually really anxious to see tomorrow night's episode which is quite a change from how I felt about the show after the first couple of episodes.  Heck, I wasn't even excited about the premier after the long summer break.  Nice work, VD.

    Me either. I'm so glad they amped it up and it's back to being real entertainment!! LOL. DH will sit with me, but says it doesn't interest him anymore and just plays on his phone. Whatevs!

    Ugh, I saw previews for Tyler showing up on The Originals next week.  I should've expected that was coming but it still made me want to gag.  He needs to go away for good already!

    I don't know, but I was thinking that since she doesn't have the cure in her anymore, and Elena made her human with the cure, age is catching up to her.  I keep waiting for someone to change her again, but I don't know if that is possible.
