When nothing sounds appealing...

What do you eat?  I've started my food aversion stage.  I'm hungry, but everything makes me want to gag.  I certainly don't want to cook.  What do you ladies turn to when you have food aversions?

Re: When nothing sounds appealing...

  • I'm feeling that way a lot lately. Usually there is one thing that does sound good... Today that was subway. Crackers, fruit and ice cream always sound good though.

  • Egg drop soup. It's the only thing that sounds good!
  • I'm going to get some Club crackers today. Maybe put some peanut butter on them if I don't hate that too. I feel like my nose is super sensitive but my taste buds aren't working.

  • I've been munching on dry rye toast. Or Ritz crackers.  (not feeling great).

  • Cake frosting.  :(
I really hope I'm not the only one who doesn't eat healthy all the freaking time.  That would make me feel bad! :)

  • I've been living off of plain spaghetti. It's the only thing that sounds good most days.
  • Cold fruit, cold salads, cold pasta that's about all that sounds good to me.

  • I am on a bread bread bread kick. Really hard since I used to be carb free, so now I don't want to eat anything!
  • Cheese or fruit
    imageimageimage
  • I play my favorite game: "if I could have ANYTHING right now, what would it be?" I can usually think of something that way. Yesterday it was soup.

  • My go-to foods last pregnancy with food aversions were granny smith apples, easy mac, salt and vinegar chips, and strawberries.

No m/s yet here.  I'm sure it's on its way...

  • Cereal. It's all i can handle. Usually cheerio's. Or bread. Something about those complex carbs, i guess.

I'm having a problem where I make what I think I want, but when it's ready I have zero desire to eat it any more. Ugh. Whatever I do end up eating though I don't eat very much of it, and it makes me super tired. Is anyone else having that problem?

The only thing I'm not having a problem consuming is Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels from Costco. Sooooooo YUM!

  • When nothing sounds good I eat bland food (potatoes, crackers, vanilla yogurt, toast, etc)

    BabyFruit Ticker
  • Usually a non-heavy soup like chicken noodle or some kind of broth and crackers.

  • Peanut butter toast, greek yogurt or strawberry applesauce.

  • Cheese and fruit are my go to foods. Sometimes vanilla Greek yogurt too with some blueberries in it... Yumm

There is usually one thing that sounds amazing in a sea of repulsive sounding food (some of which I was craving just a few days ago) You just have to figure out what that one thing is.

Same here! I stayed on it just under 1 week until one day I *had* to have some spagetti. The next day, it was macaroni and cheese or someone was going down! lol  Looks like carb free will have to wait until next year haha
  • Key Lime Pie yogurt and Peppermint Blue Bell ice cream!

  • I'll hop on this train. Nothing sounds good. PB&J and toast with jelly have been my staples. Also, pita chips and hummus on good days. I was also pretty much carb free, so I'm just taking it as a sign as that's what my body needs.

  • Fruit yogurt, plain spaghetti with butter, bread with cream cheese, sometimes scrambled eggs in a tortilla. That's about it. Oh, and chocolate (duh).

  • Nachos, somehow nachos are something I can always eat. Probably not the healthiest suggestion, though.

  • Most times NOTHING sounds good which of course isn't good but when I do eat, it has to be meat.

  • pasta, cheese, chips and sour cream....   but you have to find your 'perfect combination'.  I know it stinks to force yourself to eat when that's the LAST thing you want to do.  Hang in there, we'll make it! :-)
  • same issue here. nothing sounds good at all. especially sweets. I was putting all the halloween candy that was left (TONS.. my kids are not big candy eaters). In big gallon sized zip lock bags to take to work and was gagging just looking at them.
  • I right there with you all. How can I be so hungry yet so nauseated?! Still haven't found my go-to food yet..,trial and error is not going so well /:)
  • Not too much sounds appealing. Like another poster said, it sounds good until I get ready to fix myself a plate then it sounds gross.

What seems continually safe is cheese, crackers, and hot chocolate.

  • Chicken noodle soup, baked potato, crackers, toast. That's all I've eaten in the past 48 hours. And I think it's all I will eat for a few weeks.
  • Thanks to y'all I am craving a million different things!
  • Chicken noodle soup, crackers, bread
