Hi Ladies... Newbie here with multiple chemical pregnancies after successful 1st pregnancy.

Hello! I am new to this board and looking for support.

DS was a surprise - I was on BC at the time. I went had a fairly normal pregnancy with the exception of high blood pressure which developed at 34 weeks. I was induced at 38 weeks.

We started to TTC #2 in July. We got a BFP right away, but I miscarried right at the usual time AF would show. We got a BFP right away again the next cycle, but by the time AF was due I started spotting and bleeding. The first day of bleeding I did go in for a progesterone draw and HCG. My progesterone was 7 and HCG was 3. Both pregnancies were confirmed with FRER and digitals, so I was definitely pregnant.

Last cycle was a normal cycle with a BFN, and currently I am 3dpo.

My OB will only be my OB until 12/31 as we are switching insurance. However, they have refused to give me any time with them because I have had a successful pregnancy. These chemicals were just "flukes." I understand this could be true, however, two in a row makes me wonder.

I've read the most common causes are a blood clotting disorder or low progesterone. I started taking 1 baby aspirin per day on CD1 this cycle. I am also demanding a progesterone draw at 7dpo.

Right now I just sit and wait...wishing I had a doctor who would listen. I am afraid to get another BFP.

Hi I'm so sorry. I just suffered my first early natural loss ( ~ 5 weeks based on LMP). I also am currently dealing with crappy care from an OB and I'm on the hunt for a new one. I know how frustrating it is to deal with a Dr. that won't listen to your concerns. I hope you can find a dr. that will give you the attention and care you deserve.

Welcome I'm so sorry for your loss.

I would look into a new ob or an RE. I know that most places will not take you until you have had three in a row but it's worth a shot.

I went through four in a row and one was a second trimester loss. I wish I could go back in time and have pressured my OB harder about it since I now know that I have a balanced chromosome issue.

Welcome. I had 3 CPs in a row prior to conceiving my DD. I had my progesterone checked & it was low so I was put on Prometrium. IMO I feel that this is the only reason that I was able to sustain that pregnancy. It could just be an easy fix! Good luck to you!

Sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I agree with looking for another doctor. My RE didn't do anything for my miscarriages but my OB/GYN did. He did genetic testing and then found i need folic acid and baby asprin. Still no BFP for me, but i felt better he at least tried. If the doctor doesn't feel right to you, I'd look around for one that does. Hope things start to look brighter for you.

I'm so sorry for your losses! Welcome and I hope your stay here is short, in a good way! I would definitely look for a new OB. I had a mc in February and cp in May and my OB thought it was just a fluke. I searched and found our current RE who is amazing. He gave me a DX, has helped tremendously and has been very kindhearted. You should have to deal with that. Hugs!

Welcome, I'm so sorry to hear about your losses. I think a majority of us have experienced that, here. I have had 4 and we suspected a 5th this past cycle. I hope you find the same support and comfort here as I have over the months.
