Pedi gave us the clear to start milk

She said we could do it however we want. I told her I planned on mixing the milk and formula, but she said she thought it was better to just replace an entire bottle with a sippy of milk, that's what she did with her kids. But if he wasn't drinking as much, to do it the other way until he got used to it. Yay! And honestly, since we've started thickening his formula, he has grown less attached to his bottle, so I think we're inadvertently weaning him anyway. I even got him to daycare this morning without having to feed him at home first. It would be awesome if we could get him to coincide his milk with his meals too. I'm trying to work on it, but with him in daycare it's hard, because they really don't fluctuate on his mealtimes, unless he's sleeping. But if we can get him to start off right with milk at breakfast, then the rest of the day should follow suit. Wish us luck!

Don't be surprised if it's good at first then he doesn't want it a few months down the road. I've heard this over and over. We have to put a little chocolate milk into BabyHill's milk to get him to drink it.
