Than to share any news with my parents BEFORE I want the rest of the world to know.

DH and I are getting married in a small family only ceremony so we didn't give any details to the extended family. I haven't said one word about it on Facebook. We both have relatives who will be pissed at not having been invited to the ceremony, which is why I
didn't tell people when it was. We have been treating the wedding like we are eloping... with our parents and siblings present.
Well, a few days ago my Aunt called me at 5:00am
demanding to know when we are holding our reception in the spring so that she could take several days off. This morning she texted me how excited she was the wedding was in 2 days and how upset she was that she wasn't invited.
*sigh*
Why is it so hard for my mother to just keep her mouth shut?! We had planned on calling our grandmothers and tell them we had gotten married. It just upsets me that she does this with every bit of news. It's like I can't ever get the excitement of telling people for myself. She did the same thing when we finally told people we were pregnant with E. I waited to say anything until we were 14 weeks. I told her, and then before I could call the next person on my list-- Grandma-- she had already spread the news!
