Hi,
Just found out today I'm six weeks pregnant. We've been trying for 6 years and have had 2 failed IUIs. We had given up hope. I was shocked, actually still am, when the test was positive at the doctor's office. They took blood and my levels were high enough to schedule my first ultrasound, which will be on Thursday. I'm 35, will be 36 when the baby arrives in July. I need all the advice I can get, so I wanted to introduce myself before I start asking questions!
Re: Newly pregnant
Congrats!!!!!!!! What exciting news for you
My only advice is to relax and enjoy the ride. Getting yourself stressed over things that are so far out of your control doesn't do you or your baby any good (and especially in the beginning a lot of variables are just out of your control) This is a wonderful board. Lots of wonderful, supportive ladies here. Oh and being over 35 is not the kiss of death!!!! Congrats again!!!

We are finally pregnant with our first after TTC and infertility and couldn't be more excited. I swear the first few days I couldn't believe it. Which is why I took several tests at home.
