Pregnant after 35

XP from TTC 35+...NYC Bumpies...

Someone suggested I post this over here...I know there were quite a few ladies from NYC when I was PG with #1; hoping I can re-connect.

I know there used to be quite a few Manhattan ladies out there.  Can I please have your RE and OB recs?  Or anyone you wouldn't recommend?

Much Appreciated!!

Thanks!

Re: XP from TTC 35+...NYC Bumpies...

  • RE - Dr. Sami David. He is a bit unorthodox, doesn't accept insurance, and doesn't do IVF, but I was incredibly impressed with him. He figured out what was going on with me and within 3 months, I was pregnant, completely naturally.

OB - Dr. Maldonado at Spring Ob/Gyn was my practice when for many years as my gyno and then for my first child. I was loathe to leave them, but my insurance changed.

I never used Downtown Women for Ob purposes, but I did like them for Gyn visits and friends had good experiences there.

    Both practices deliver at NYU.

  • Hey there...
I'm a Westchester girl. I have an RE from NY Presbyterian @ Cornell - Dr. Rony Elias. He's amazing and I just got my BFP yesterday. I have seen him in Westchester for monitoring appointments in the mornings. He travels down to York & 70th St certain days. There are a bunch of REs at Cornell. I've been very impressed with everyone there. Good luck!
