2nd Dose of Flu Shot

My son goes in for the 2nd dose of his Flu shot next week. He normally runs a fever, is cranky, and sleeps horribly after getting his shots. I was just curious how you baby reacted to just getting the 2nd dose of the flu shot. I am wondering if he will have such a bad reaction since it is just one shot as opposed to the 3 or 4 he has gotten at once in the past.

    DD#2's temp was elevated but nothing that needed any medication.  She took a good nap that day after her shot.

    Hopefully your guy reacts like mine--without much of a reaction at all! I'm not sure he even realized it happened, it was so quick. So much better than the 4 shots at his 6 month. He had absolutely no side effects either, though last time he'd had a bit of a temperature.

    DD did not cry at all with the second dose, which really surprised me! She also had no side effects what so ever. It was if it never happened. I hope your LO does well with it!

    Thanks! DS always runs a fever with shots and is miserable and cranky for 3 days. His appt. was scheduled the day before Thanksgiving and we are traveling, so I was curious how other's reacted. I went ahead and rescheduled it for after Thanksgiving. I didn't want to make him travel if he felt horrible. Thanks Ladies!

    This exactly! however, we have never had any side effects with any of her shots.
