  I believe N still had diarrhea nearly a week after he finished his post-surgery antibiotics. It also didn't seem to bother him, but I was very liberal with the Desitin. I hope your LO is all better soon!

  Probiotics helped my LO. When he was sick he was younger and we bought some at the drug store to put in his milk, at the pediatrician a suggestion. Now he gets yogurt with probiotics about at least twice a week m

  Antibiotics kill good and bad bacteria so it's important to use a probiotic to gain back good bacteria.  We use Gerber Good Start soothe.  It used to be called Bio Gaia, but I guess Gerber wanted their name more prominent.  I also give the girls Kefir (yogurt smoothie) daily.

  Same as PPs: We've had lots of diarrhea issues over the past year, and adding probiotics to his bottles and/or food helped immensely.  Got over the diarrhea from antibiotics within just a day or two, instead of during the whole course of antibiotics.
