  Drink lots of water and put your feet up for a little bit. If they don't get any better, or get worse, I'd call my doctor in a few hours - just for peace of mind.

  I am having the same feeling. It is painful but no bleeding. It feels like severe menstrual cramps.

  happily married since 2009, SAHM
  diagnosed with unexplained infertility, regular cycles
  Baby #1: ttc naturally for 3 years, 6 yr old daughter
  Baby #2: ttc naturally for 2 years, 2 yr old son
  Baby #3: ttc naturally since August 2016

  I had really bad cramps last week- had a melt down & called the doctor.  She reassured me that your baby is going through a growth spurt and your uterus is expanding A LOT.  She told me to drink lots of water and use the heating pad. 
  
  I don't think you have a problem with no spotting or bleeding but if it makes you feel better then I would call your Doc.  That professional reassurance can help a lot.

  I'm at 16 weeks and have been having similar, menstrual-like, cramps.  They are not severe, but they do come and go throughout the day.  I don't see the doctor for a couple of weeks.  I'm assuming baby is growing, growing!

  Were you around 17/18 weeks when this happened?
  
  I am thinking/hoping it has to do with growth because I just recently started feeling baby move like crazy so I'm thinking he/she is just getting bigger. Plus I'm not really showing that much and I know that will change soon!

  I just turned 18 weeks today and I felt a little bit of cramping. For a moment there I freaked out cause it reminded me of my period...but then I realized that possibly my belly has to grow more to make space for the baby. So for now I'm calm. But at the end of the day if calling your doctor will make you feel better than do it. Don't hesitate.

  last week (17 weeks) I was having SEVERE menstrual like cramps, no bleeding or spotting. and was told by my dr that it was normal pregnancy growing pains.

  Everytime I've felt like that recently (and there have been many times), I've either had gas building up that needed release, or I've had to poop. Drink plenty of water and try going potty. Hope that helps!
