Betas today

I'm going for betas this afternoon.  I probably won't get the results until tomorrow sometime.  I've been spotting brown off and on since Saturday.  I took another test this morning and the positive line is darker than the control.  I'm nervous as can be.  I had brown spotting a few days before my CP last December.

    Fx for great numbers! I spotted brown and red with both of my DDs if that helps ease your mind!

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    I agree!  One of the downfalls of smallish town living is no in house lab.  Everything is sent out to the hospital.  :(

    Keeping you in my thoughts!  Good luck!  I had brown spotting with my angel baby around the time of my missed period.  My angel baby made it to about 10 weeks, so the brown spotting was not a sign of an impending CP for me.  Keep us posted!

    As my OB has told me - she's seen a lot of spotting and a lot of babies.

    Congrats on the bfp, and fingers crossed that the betas are great.  I have had spotting on and off this whole pregnancy, since 8dpo, if that helps.  Hopefully it will just go away in a day or two!  I hope to see you over on the PAIF board very soon.

    Me: 42. DH: 46.

    1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.

    2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.

    3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.

    4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.

    5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.

    Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN.  After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.

    August 16, 2013:  BFP our first month of "not trying!"  Still in shock.  Beta #1 (14dpo): 183.  Beta #2 (17dpo):  611.  Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm! 
    Ultrasound 9/13/13:  8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
    Baby is due 4/26/14

    @CheesyPeas I love my OB, but they can be slow!  I'm trying to cut the IF nurse some slack.  She is the only IF nurse in a practice with 7 doctors.  I know she is swamped.  I'm giving her until 11:30 to call, then I will call.

    Ugh, I can't believe you won't get your betas until tomorrow!! Your poor thing!! We can be in beta hell together since I have to wait till Thurs to get my next draw!


    BFP #1 ended in MMC. Discovered Oct 2005 @10w5d, baby stopped growing around 6w. D&C.
    BFP#2 Nov 2005. Baby's heart stopped @ 8w3d. D&C Jan 2006. Trisomy 18
    BFP#3 Nov 2006. My "miracle baby" DD born 7/25/07
    BFP #4 11/6/12. EDD 7/16/13~my birthday! No sac found @ 5w1d, betas not increasing. Natural m/c started 11/20/12.

    BFP#5 11/9/13.  EDD 7/21/14  Our beautiful rainbow born on his due date!!

    I am so impatient, I would just call. They can have your betas in 1 hour after drawing them so I think its ridic that they make you wait over night.

    The nurse just called. I was 15 dpo yesterday. HCG is 355.  Progesterone is 30.9.  They will recheck next Monday and then schedule my first OB appointment.

    YAY!! That is awesome. They didn't tell me my progesterone for some reason.  Hopefully my numbers will be similar to yours since I will be 15DPO Thursday! We will have very close due dates!
