Trouble Concentrating at Work?

Anyone else experiencing problems concentrating at work? I feel like my mind is in another world where the only thing I want to concentrate on is our little bean. It's not that I dislike my job or anything, there are just so much more important things to think about now! But I can't afford to lose my job, so I am going to need to figure something out soon before my boss really starts to notice.

Oooooooh yes. I don't think I got more than maybe an hour of work done all last week lol. I think it's totally normal given our circumstances. That said, agreed that we need to find ways to suck it up and get on track as much as possible. :-)

YES! This has been happening to me too. DH says I'm also super forgetful lately.... I think it's all normal (or at least I hope so)

I had a super foggy brain during my first trimester. I can't even explain it. I wasn't even thinking about baby. I could not think about anything! I feel like the fog is starting to clear...finally!!

I have done nothing today and I will probably do nothing all week until my a/s scan on Friday. I am the worst employee ever. When I have a busy week with strict deadlines I'm fine, but when I am just left to my own self-direction, it's not working out.

I wouldn't say i'm necessarily thinking about our LO but my brain is mush...big time. It usually hits after lunch where I feel like I need a nap. Although, since my OB said 12 oz of caffeine is ok, I usually bribe one of my coworkers that go out for lunch to bring me back and ice cold coke

Oh yes. I can barely form complete sentences sometimes. I did tell my boss about our IVF though and she's been pregnant before so she understands. Luckily I sit at a desk all day and can avoid conversations by putting my headphones in.

Between the fog, the morning sickness, the tummy issues... I cannot tell you how many times I have to tell myself during the day to "suck it up, buttercup!" and just try to make it to 4pm.

Hang in there, this is only temporary! Maybe...

On the days I have had appointments I've had a really hard time getting anything done. I want to come back from the visit and tell everyone about it but I can't. So I settle for gchatting and text messaging the few people who know and get nothing done!
