Success after IF

Just donated my maternity clothes :(

Volunteers of America is coming by today to pick up our donations and I put out all my maternity clothes. Even though I definitely don't want to go through fertility treatments and c/s again I'm feeling a little sad. It seems so final. And all those memories!  It is taking all my will power to not go out on the porch and bring the bags back inside. lol!

And just for fun, here's the tally of what I wore over the course of 3 pregnancies, (2 summer and 1 winter due dates):

(1) rain coat
(27) tops
(9) pants
(3) skirts
(6) dresses
(3) sweaters
(5) pajamas

  • Good for you for helping others! It is sad though to think about never being pregnant again. Hugs.

    That must have been hard.

I have been selling and donating all of my daughter's things over the last couple of weeks and it has been SO HARD.  But I know that we are absolutely done having children after this baby boy, so I needed to part with it.

    Tough stuff though.

Full disclosure: I didn't put out the baby girl clothes. I have been giving away boy clothes to friends and DH's boss who just had a son in Oct. But I couldn't bring myself to put out the non-boy clothes just in case I can talk DH into adoption in the future.

Although, one of the other kindergarten moms is having a baby in Feb; I might be able to bring myself to part with the rest of my baby clothes by then. We'll see. I agree, it is SO hard to commit to being done. :(
