Last week was definitely one of the worst I can remember in awhile and I am very much hoping for this one to be better and so far I think its looking good.
Last week: DH left for a business trip on Sunday, Monday morning my uncle's wife calls at 7 am and says my uncle (who has been battling lung cancer and we thought had won) needs to go to the emergency room ASAP, he lives in the ghetto so to avoid him being taken to said ghetto hospital I get in the car immediately race to his house and take both of them to emergency room, wife can't seem to do anything by herself (story for another time). Take him to the emergency room, leave after getting them settled there, take Grayson to school and myself to work. Couple hours later I get a call from my mom (its her brother) that they have found a brain tumor. So we start the shifts at the hospital again and this time I have no DH to help and of course Grayson can't go to hospital so I call in every favor I can think for people to watch Gray while I go to the hospital after work. Week went on like this and it was just so rough, then Tuesday night I pick Grayson up and realize he has pink eye- perfect . Get the drops start those, but cant send him to school on wednesday so I stay home, but my boss can't handle me being out for one day and he sends me hours and hours of work to do while trying to watch/ hang out with Grayson. On top of washing everything to try and get rid of said pink eye. Then my dad stops by and casually mentions that my mom wanted him to re-schedule his elective surgery that he was supposed to have Friday, my uncle is surgery to have the brain tumor removed on Thursday, but he doesnt see why he should. This is the moment when I lose it and start telling him thats ridiculous and he has to reschedule, after an hour of begging he finally agrees....
Anywho week just kept going and we finally made it. Dh is home, my uncle survived the surgery and is doing well. So I am hoping this is going to be a much better week, if anybody else has anything they need to get off their chest feel free- I think I just really needed to whine about this, cause Dh came home from his business trip all whining about how tired he was, blah blah (I know it was long hours and such, but really?) Oh well if you got this far thanks for listening and feel free to join me in my whinning
