Was wondering if anyone has any good home remedies to help with morning sickness? I've only had a few mild bouts of nausea but want to get ahead of the game, just in case things get worse. Thanks!
I'm doing a lot better with just B6 twice a day. I'm also a terrible sleeper so when I wake up in the middle of the night, I make sure to eat something. It's when I wake up with an empty stomach that I really get it bad.
I found some decaf ginger tea and organic ginger candies at TJMaxx today. Haven't had any nausea yet but stocking up just in case. Question, do you take b6 daily to prevent nausea or after it begins?
Thank you for all the ideas, I am getting stronger nausea...haven't thrown up yet but close, need some help with the type of jobs I have can't be laying around!
I have heard that B6 doesn't help much after the fact. I started it with my lmp, as I read that it would help with low progesterone too. (I'm on progesterone until 12 weeks anyway, but...) turns out it can help with ms too. So far I'm queasy but no vomiting.
Nothing helped me until unisom (1/2 tab at bedtime) and 25 mg of b6 (1-3x/d), plus the major help is zofran... It's what keeps me from puking most the time!
I tried everything else before this (ginger, eating regularity, etc) and like many others said nothing worked but meds. It's frustrating but keeping me out of the ER (already went once for fluids) and allowing me to be productive with my days.
This isn't a home remedy but I recently started going to acupuncture sessions for my morning sickness and fatigue. Helped tremendously!! I work as a nurse so all the sights/smells were so overwhelming when dealing with morning sickness. I would say my symptoms have gone down by 75%. Good luck!
