Daily WOD thread?

Would anyone be interested in a daily workout check-in?  We did it on my last BMB, and I know it helped keep a lot of us motivated to stay active.

Re: Daily WOD thread?

  • We do have a weekly running check-in on Mondays if you are interested.

  • I would! I have been so tired maybe this would hold me accountable.

Today I jogged 2 miles and did some bicep, triceps, and shoulder workouts with light weights as well as lunges and squats. Almost died.lol
  • Not sure how I've missed those?  Hm.

I guess I missed those too!

  • My doctor told me no running at all during pregnancy because it's hard on the hips and difficult to keep your heart rate low enough. She said only lower impact aerobics and strength training. Sucks.

  • Ha! I just saw someone running out my window I'm so jealous. I will be so glad when my dr tells me I can go back to normal activity.

I think on my jan board they had a check in about squats, just how many did you do that week. I know there is a running check in but some of us (myself included) prob won't be able to run any of this pregnancy. I think it's a good idea.
    Fucking bump!!!!
  • I'd love a WOD thread!
  • I feel so sad I'm on rest so no exercise for me which is difficult as I'm a fittness instructor :-S I'm hoping in the next couple of weeks I can get back to it.

    Oh no, why?

    I would like a WOD thread...I teach group fitness.  I don't run.
  • MC history and iv had bleeding in this pregnancy so I'm on pelvic rest and bed rest :-/ haven't had any bleeding in a few weeks and the scans look ok so I'm hoping to be off rest in my 2ed tri
  • Aww, take it easy!  Hope you're cleared to get moving soon :)
  • I would! I have seen the running thread but I assumed that was exclusively for runners. I want to keep active this pregnancy but will prob be more through walking/videos than running.

  • I would like a daily thread, as well! My dr told me to keep it to brisk walking for now, but I want to make sure I keep it a routine.

  • I haven't been able to run in 2 months and it's killing me! I just started prenatal yoga and it's okay but I feel like I'm doing a warm up not a work out!

  • I would def like to be a part of a wod thread or even if anyone wants to buddy up. Just before I got preg I was doing TurboFire and felt great. The exhaustion has been TERRIBLE the last 2 weeks and I've eaten horribly. I can't wait to feel like I'm more myself again. Although not sure if I will carrying twins!!!
  • I too am on restricted activity and pelvic rest. I normally teach insanity and turbo kick. Going insane, not sure which is worse right now, the hormones or lack of endorphins! I too am hopeful to return to normal activity in 2nd tri! Right now I will live to read your WOD!!!!!
