It looks like I may be having laparoscopy in the next few months. For those that have had this before, how long were you out of commission? I am a SAHM to our (almost) 4yr old with special needs. She still needs to be picked up/carried quite a bit, though she is very small. Any idea how long I should arrange care for her? Any helpful tips?
TIA!
Re: Lap Surgery
I was scheduled to have one in Oct but it was cancelled. They had told me to plan for 2 days. I hope you have someone who can help with your little one so you can rest a few days. It's so hard when they want to play with you. When I'm on bed rest and my DD is here I don't stay down - so my mom comes and gets her. Not everyone is that lucky - but I hope you can get some rest. The more you rest in the beginning the faster you will heal and be ready for the next step.
Best Wishes!
