I watched some the other night. Very graphic and now I don't want my bf to see down there while it's happening because I think he won't ever see it the same anymore lmao
I was bored one Saturday around 10wks, and realizing I had never actually seen a birth, hopped over to youtube and proceeded to watch several... Man, the things you don't realize...
I couldn't do it. I'm one of those "if I can't see it, it's not that bad" people. DH stepped into my c-section slightly late, after they had already made the incision. I'm SO glad it's him with that visual image and not me. Good lord.

I do all the time i also saw my niece and god daughters births. Only thing that bothered me was the smell of blood.
Aaaah, you can smell it!!!!!!!
See that's the nice thing about being the one having the baby. I couldn't smell any blood, I couldn't see anything. Had no idea what was going on down there.
That is why I still refuse to watch those videos. I was even the baby who closed my eyes during the crowning part of the video during my birthing class, haha. But I do understand wanting to know and educating yourself about it. Personally, in this case, I just didn't want to.
Oh I definitely didn't watch any prior to having my daughter. And I didn't see any of what was happening when I had her either. They offered me the mirror and I said no way! DH stayed by my shoulders so he didn't have to see anything either. Shudder.
They used to scare me but I started only watching like, natural home births and now I just find them totally fascinating. I find myself cheering on the women like "yeah you can do it way to go!" DH and I watched some together. He isn't grossed out at all by it.
Here's a video that made me cry, I thought it was so beautifully done.
