ETA: No new baby stuff to show just yet. Maybe for the next check in.
Here are two of the neck warmers I made -- one is a gift for my sister, the other one is for a friend. I have another one done that I don't love, plus two that still need buttons. I'll update later when those two are done.
I'm also working on two matching taggie minky blankies either tonight or tomorrow -- one for me and one for my SIL. But first I want to paint a small nightstand that will go in the nursery.... as soon as I stop having contractions. (I passed a small stone a few mins ago & my body is freaking the eff out.)
Married October 2009. Me 29 H 28. After 1 year of infertility, our little miracle was conceived via our 3rd IUI on May 5, 2013. Holland Sophia was born Jan 24, 2014.
I love those organizers. I need to make something like that for my older sons closet. My grandma made this for our baby and I ADORE it and want to AW it because its handmade with love for Arlo.
And this is the extent of my crafting for this baby. I folded the paper cranes above the crib ad painted the painting. This was taken a few weeks ago, but I still have yet to hang the painting, and move the dresser to the right a smidge. (Arlo's corner of our bedroom, aka "the nursery".)
ETA: Sorry for the weird formatting, my ipad hates me.
@peanutmuse- I love those! They're really well done and look so cute. You've inspired me, those are now next on my list. If you have a pattern, please share!
I'm currently working on a few different sets of boot cuffs and slouchy beanies. I also started a baby blanket.
Love all of these!! Have been looking up ideas for closet dividers - also for H's benefit more than mine!
The neckwarmers are awesome and I love the addition of the big wooden buttons! Now only if it would get cold enough to wear something like that down here!
I really want to learn how to knit/crochet. How difficult is it to pick up? Keep in mind I've done zero needlework before of any sort.
DH put together our glider and I fluffed out all the pompomps lol. Sorry for the sideways picture! We're just waiting for the dresser and curtains to be shipped and then we will hang some things on the wall and we will be done!! Soooo excited!!
I may have already AW'd the top two. I don't remember. I apologize in advance if I have. I also don't have a pic of the burp cloth I did and I'm not at home.
The top left is a blue spaghetti strap I turned into a nursing tank to attach to a nursing bra. I also made one in black.
Top right I double sided wash cloths because they were too thin an flimsy.
Bottom left I pulled the ugly ribbon and bow off and replaced it with ribbon an a flower. I also did other patching on it because we received it used and it was... Not what I expected.
Bottom right is a scrap material rosette clip. I made four in different sizes and colors but I haven't put clips on them yet JiC I want to use them on something instead of hair.
@Coco1236 -- I didn't really use a pattern. I just use standard double crochet stitches with an N hook or bigger. The number of stitches across just depends on the yarn weight/colors. I stop when it wraps the way I want it to, then sometimes I do a SC around the outside. The top one doesn't have a border, the bottom one does. Then I sew the buttons using embroidery thread along the long edge of one side -- I just space them out visually.
The bottom one actually was done length wise to create long columns of stitches, rather than width wise.
So these are the crafts I've been working on this week. Mod podge letters for baby Hannah's wall and these elephants will be for a mobile. The pink ones are done, that's the front of the grey ones, still finishing those up:)
You ladies are really talented! I love all of your projects.
I worked all day today, so no crafting for me, but I will PIP something at some point for you all!
And the ladies from work gave me a wonderful gift today for the baby that included a gorgeous blanket that one of them made, I'll try to remember to PIP that too.
Mobile bumping so hope this works - just finished this washable merino cardigan in 0-3 month. And since I haven't participated before, here's a cap and scratch mitts from a few weeks back...I have blankets too but no pics on my phone yet - next time!
In between periods of rest, I was able to paint my old childhood nightstand to go into the nursery. We were just going to donate it and I had actually completely forgotten about it. I was looking at small tables to put under the window next to the (will be) recliner. And then I remembered my old nightstand.
Here is the bedding I made. Its basic since I'm just learning, but I'm dang proud. Also the wooden letters I made to hang. I'm not sure on the color of the O yet, hence the paper in the picture.

@vstevens - that sweater is insanely cute! I've been trying to teach myself to knit and crochet with youtube, but it's not going so well. I saw a groupon recently for classes nearby. I think I'm going to break down and buy it.
@tarajeannette That pattern is adorable! To be honest, other than basic lessons from my mom when I was little on stitches, I am pretty much self taught through trial and error and google. I now have this app called knittinghelp on my iPad - but you can also just go to knittinghelp.com for the same thing for free as long as you're online. I would get on Ravelry and pick out a few free beginner patterns to start, and use the videos on knitting help to help you discern all the abbreviations / different techniques. Once you get through that, you'll be ready to move onto something more complicated - good luck!

CW, what did you use as the base/form of the closet dividers? They are super, super cute.

Here is the finished blanky for Jacob (which we have been using the last week or so)!!!
I also crocheted a bootie but I don't love it, so back to square one.
