Aw- naps

Can I just say that this week ds took at least one nap a day in his crib. He has NEVER done that before. He had previously only napped on me, in the car, in the stroller or on my boob (maybe a handful of times in his bouncy chair that he's grown way out of). He's 18lbs now and just so heavy, so this past week naps alone were my mission! This is huge people! Fx we can make this a habit!

    @measton8809 - so what I did was hung sarongs over the windows (until we get curtains... it's not completely dark but at least the sun isn't poring in), used the sleep sheep on the ocean setting (I had never tried white noise before), then rocked him to sleep the same way I would when he would sleep on my chest and once he was completely out I transferred him to the crib on his belly. I figured since he would sleep on my chest he might nap better on his stomach even tho at night he's on his back. Once I lay him down he wakes a bit but if I pat his butt and keep my other hand on his back he drifts right off again! Yay! (And yes he's supervised since he's on his tummy) the naps have ranged from 20min - 1hr 10mins so far.

    That is awesome!! Mackenzie has been sleeping in her crib for nap time for about 3 weeks and now has been sleeping in her crib at night for a week. The transition went really well and I think that was because she was in her crib for naps. Good job Mom!!
