Hi, all. I'm a first time mom, 36 weeks pregnant with twins and I am absolutely miserable. Everything hurts. I can't breathe, sleep, or get comfortable. I feel like I am on the world's worst PMS trip...irritable, I can't keep up with as many mood swings as I've been having (God bless my poor husband), and I feel extremely anxious. I honestly didn't even feel this crappy my first trimester!
As I'm sure you can tell, I'm having a bit of a breakdown and I just want to know, does it get any better once I deliver? Will I ever stop feeling so uncomfortable? I know recovery is different for everyone and sleep deprivation is inevitable, but I just don't know how much more I can take. I keep trying to remind myself that I only have a few more weeks to go and then I get to meet my little guys, but then I think, "Oh, God...what if I can't enjoy it because I will still feel this horrible!"
I'm sorry to rant

Exactly this! My twins are 3 months now and it is a different kind of hard and sleep deprivation! You are so close! I delivered at 37.3. Hang in there! They will be here before you know it!
TTC #2 since July 2010
March 2012 IVF (MDL Protocol) Started stims 3/3; ER 3/11 (9R, 8M, 7F) ET 3/16 (5dt of 2 blasts graded 3AB and 3BA, 3 frosties(!!) Beta 3/26 = 386; Beta 3/28 = 827; u/s 4/11 says TWINS! Boy/Girl Twins delivered at 36 weeks 6 days
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
I didn't get that far (34w4d) but there was a big relief after the babies were out. I had HELLP syndrome so that intense pain was gone and I was so happy to see it go. It was like the worst heartburn coupled with a red hot knife stabbing me in the back. The one thing that took a month or more to go away was my pregnancy induced carpal tunnel.
Hang in there Momma!
